Published on Mar 25, 2025
ACTC will once again be hosting a student art show, this year, at the Midland Branch of the Boyd County Public Library.
The opening reception will be held Friday, April 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The show will run from April 11 through April 18.
鈥淚 am really excited about another student show,鈥 said art professor Wendy Fosterwelsh. 鈥淭his is our first time collaborating with the public library, and I am very thrilled about it. The library is a beautiful venue for the show, featuring plenty of space and wonderful lighting. It's a great opportunity for students to see their hard work displayed and appreciated by others.鈥
Fosterwelsh has been organizing student art shows for the college since she was hired in 2006.
Students in the ACTC art show include (in no particular order): Taylor Reeves, Belle Hiles, Dakota Daniels, Levi Robinson, Kris Morgan, Joshua Bryant, Marissa Neace, Shay Howard, Kate Kidwell, Sofia Talamantez, Serena Arthur, Atticus McGlone, Des Kouns, Jo Steele, Zoe Bass, Victoria Malone, Penelope Cox, Glenn Davis, Patrick Galvin, Skyler Gumm, Libbi Singleton, Allison Williams, Debbie Cosper, Season Qualls, Hannah Reed, and Alex Shepard.
The students are students in Fosterwelsh鈥檚 Drawing I & II, Painting I & II, and Art 100 classes.
The Boyd County Public Library 鈥 Midland Branch can be found at 6686 US-60, Ashland, KY 41102.
