New technology is transforming every aspect of our world, and the college is continuously working to stay current with new developments. Not only do we want incorporate those technologies into our programs and classes, we want to help our students and communities use those technologies at school, work and home.

This month, we collected information on the 2015-2016 academic year to share with our legislators, and I want to share some of that information with you.
December 16, 2016
Many events at the college in December demonstrated different aspects of our mission. We met with high school counselors, held a recruitment event to bring in new students, recognized graduates, provided enrichment activities for youth, updated high school counselors on college services, recognized a retiring member of our Board of Directors and hired a new Development Director.

Our focus at ACTC extends to students at all educational levels. We are primarily concerned with providing the quality academic education and support services that our enrolled students need to succeed in college. We are also aware of our ability to help pre-college students understand the need for postsecondary education.

In addition to academic classes and services, ACTC provides activities that can help students connect to the college, network with fellow students and develop interpersonal and leadership skills. Even though we are a commuter school, our goal is to provide a variety of opportunities for student involvement and development.
